Yeah, you’re not reading the calendar wrong; it’s almost March 2016. There are definite reasons to love or dislike the month of March. The first day of spring is something most people look forward to, especially if they live in a colder climate during the winter. Then again, Daylight Saving Time also begins, and we lose an hour of sleep.
For me, I’m super stoked to see the snow finally melt completely, and even more excited to still see the sun up in the sky around 4:30 pm. The first day of spring isn’t until the latter part of the month, but once March 1 rolls around, I can see the light at the end of the bitterly cold tunnel.

First up is Employee Appreciation Day on March 4. Show your employees (at least the ones you like the most) that they’re doing a great job. It depends on the type of office you work in, but if your employees like listening to music while working, the Atlas Headphones will ensure their tunes can play without bothering others around them.
If you have an employee who is occasionally late, consider giving them a clock for Employee Appreciation Day. They’ll need it come Daylight Saving Time, which begins on March 13. All clocks will jump forward one hour, and we’ll all be bleary eyed come Monday morning.
Appropriately, just before we move our clocks forward is National Sleep Awareness Week on March 6-12. Check out the Travel Pillow or an eye mask to promote your love of sleep.
Bars and clubs will be busy come March 17 on St. Patrick’s Day when everyone is Irish. You can go simple and giveaway a custom 4-Leaf Clover Stress Ball to patrons, or gear the promotion more towards your establishment with the Bottle Opener with Flashlight.
We have some time before April’s showers start, but March is National Umbrella Month. Our large selection of umbrellas will keep you dry as the temperature starts to rise and the snow gives way to rain.
